Created for the famous Visiona installation of 1970, which included several versions of this lounge piece, the Vitra Amoebe Lounge Chair is a marvelous example of close-to-the-floor lounge furniture, and perfectly embodies the spirit of the early 1970s. Amoebe has a flexible backrest shell, providing great comfort to the user and is available in a multitude of colours, with upholstery administered in premium Tonus fabric. The Amoebe Lounge Chair pairs perfectly with the Amoebe Highback Chair, and would make for an excellent companion to the bold presence of the Vitra Living Tower.
