Vitra first introduced the Polder sofa in 2005. With its unusual shape and carefully crafted combination of colours, materials and textures, it made a mark on the typology of the contemporary sofa. Now, 10 years later the Polder Sofa has been updated with a new version; Polder Compact. The new interpretation of the sofa is most clearly evident in the revised shape, richer fabric colours and increased comfort. The Polder Compact features a body with two fixed armrests in different heights. The higher armrest can be on either side.
